Is This Webinar For You?
The Balance Method is known for working quickly — but for many Acupuncturists it can be hard to grasp without seeing it applied correctly in a real clinical setting. This session was built around exactly that: watching Dr Eileen Han apply the Balance Method live.
A direct disciple of Dr Richard Tan, Dr Han worked alongside him for decades — at his clinic, continuing with his patients, and as a teaching assistant at his seminars worldwide. In this webinar she assessed, treated, and observed real cases in real time, explaining her clinical thinking at each step.
The session was conducted entirely in Mandarin and closed with a live Q&A.
What This Webinar Covered
Why the Balance Method Works Quickly
How correct balancing is intended to produce visible change within the session, as demonstrated across real cases rather than over weeks.
One Method, Pain and Internal Conditions
How the same Balance Method principles were applied across musculoskeletal pain and internal medicine cases, without changing the core clinical approach.
Imaging and Mirroring in Real Cases
How imaging and mirroring were applied in real treatments — mapping and balancing different areas of the body for clinical change.
Clinical Thinking During Treatment
How Dr Han assessed each case, identified affected meridians, chose a strategy, and adjusted based on what she observed in real time.
Recognising When a Treatment Is Working
The immediate signs Dr Han looks for that indicate balance has been achieved, beyond a change in symptoms.
How Case Observation Accelerates Learning
Why watching real treatments helps the Balance Method's principles make sense faster than theory alone.
Asking Better Assessment Questions
Which clinical questions matter most during assessment, and how the answers guide Balance Method decisions.
Applying Balance Method Systems
How Dr Han selects and applies the Balance Method systems in practice, based on each case's clinical presentation.
