The Problem

Why Are Your Most Challenging Patients Still Walking Out Unchanged?

A patient limps into your clinic. Six months of physiotherapy failed. Pain medications stopped working. You insert the needles, you follow the protocols, you do everything "right" — but 45 minutes later, they're walking out the same way they walked in. The heartbreaking truth every Acupuncturist faces: you know TCM can help where Western medicine can't, but you may be missing the one method that makes it reliably work. Here's what nobody tells you in acupuncture school: having needles and knowing meridians isn't enough. The difference between Acupuncturists who consistently get strong clinical results and those who struggle isn't talent — it's having the right method.

01

They make it look effortless

Why do some Acupuncturists seem to effortlessly treat conditions you struggle with?

02

They get immediate results

How do they get immediate results while you're hoping for gradual improvement?

03

Patients call it "miraculous"

What are they doing differently that makes patients rave about "miraculous" transformations?

They're not more talented. They're not more intuitive. They simply learned from the right teacher using the right method — and that method has been hidden in plain sight.

The Method

The Method That Gives You Endless Treatment Options

Most Acupuncturists have one or two treatment options. Balance Method Acupuncturists have five complete pathways radiating out from every single condition — and that doesn't even include the possibilities when you add imaging and mirroring. Each of those five pathways multiplies again into multiple point combinations, giving you an almost endless range of treatment options from every meridian. Pick any meridian — treating back pain on the Bladder meridian, say — and you have five different approaches to the same condition, each with multiple point combinations through imaging and mirroring.

👕

Patient in restrictive clothing?

Follow the green pathway — foot points only.

Patient in a wheelchair?

Take the blue pathway, focusing on upper-body access.

🔄

Need to avoid their dominant side?

Choose the red pathway for opposite-side treatment.

While other Acupuncturists memorise individual point combinations, you'll understand the entire system of relationships. After three days with Dr Eileen Han, this becomes your GPS for treating any condition with confidence.

About Your Presenter

Meet Dr Eileen Han

Dr Eileen Han
PhD, LAc · 20-Year Direct Disciple of Dr Richard Tan

In 1999, Dr Eileen Han became one of Dr Richard Tan's chosen disciples. For the next 20 years she studied directly under him — not in weekend workshops, but through traditional master–disciple transmission.

Today, Dr Eileen Han treats 50–70 patients daily using Balance Method only. Every patient. Every day. The same system you're about to learn.

This is why lineage matters. You're not just learning a technique — you're receiving a lineage.

  • 15 years helping Dr Tan run his clinic
  • Observing and treating hundreds of patients per week
  • Learning Balance Method exclusively — no other techniques
  • Direct correction on every needle placement and clinical decision

The Lineage

The Method That Changed Everything — And Why Lineage Matters

In Taiwan, in the 1950s, a young Dr Richard Teh-Fu Tan began his journey into traditional Chinese medicine. Born into a family of TCM practitioners, he didn't just learn Acupuncture — he inherited it.

Dr Richard Tan — Architect of the Balance Method
Dr Richard Tan's Clinical Method

Dr Richard Tan — Architect of the Balance Method

While studying the classical texts, he discovered patterns that had been overlooked for centuries — relationships between meridians that created perfect balance, and systems that could address any condition through distal points alone. He called it the Balance Method.

When Dr Tan brought this system to the United States, it transformed Acupuncture practice. Acupuncturists who learned from him began achieving results that seemed impossible — chronic pain responding where other approaches had not, neurological conditions showing meaningful clinical change, complex cases that had stumped specialists finally responding to treatment.

But here's what matters most: Dr Tan didn't teach this method to everyone. He chose a select few disciples to carry the lineage forward — and Dr Eileen Han is among the most senior of them.

The Transformation

What Changes When You Master Balance Method

Imagine walking into your clinic on Monday morning with complete confidence in your approach to every case.

In Your Clinic

Chronic pain cases where Acupuncturists document meaningful clinical improvement, including after a single session. Neurological conditions with limited Western options, approached with a new systematic framework. Complex cases you used to refer out — now cases you're equipped to assess and treat.

For Your Practice

"How did you do that?" becomes your most common question. Word-of-mouth referrals build your appointment book. Challenging cases become your favourite cases — and other Acupuncturists start referring their difficult patients to you.

For Your Confidence

No more hoping treatments will work — you'll have a systematic approach you trust. Complex cases excite you instead of intimidating you. You finally feel like the Acupuncturist you trained to become.

FAQ

Your Questions About This Training

No specific prior knowledge is required. The course is designed to accommodate both new graduates and experienced Acupuncturists. Whether you're fresh out of school or have been practicing for years, the Balance Method will give you a systematic framework that enhances your existing knowledge.
The seminar is presented in English. All course materials, demonstrations, and Q&A sessions are conducted in English. A separate Chinese-language run is also available.
Acupuncture mastery cannot be learned from videos. You can find recorded Balance Method content online — but you miss the live patient demonstrations showing real-time clinical decisions, the chance to ask "what if the pain moves?" during treatment, hands-on practice with direct correction of your needle technique, and observation of the subtle angles, depths and manipulations that make the difference. This is hand-to-hand, needle-by-needle transmission from a 20-year direct disciple of Dr Richard Tan.
That's what attendees consistently report — applying what they learned on the Monday morning after the seminar. No months of practice needed and no complex preparations. The Balance Method is designed for clinical application, not academic theory.
Full attendance is required to receive your 19.5 CPE points, obtain your certificate of completion, and progress to Modules 2 and 3. The content builds progressively over three days — missing even one day means missing critical foundation knowledge the rest of the training depends on. If you have scheduling concerns, please contact us before registering.
Yes — this is Module 1 of a 3-module progression. Module 1: Dr Tan's Core Essentials (this seminar) is foundation training in all five Balance Method systems. Module 2: Dr Tan's Point Prescriptions covers internal medicine, emotional disorders, sleep and digestive presentations through precise point-prescription protocols (prerequisite: Module 1). Module 3: Dr Tan's Advanced Track is master-level training for complex cases (prerequisites: Modules 1 & 2).
We recommend booking as soon as you register, especially if travelling from outside Malaysia. The venue — M World Hotel (5★), 1 Persiaran Bandar Utama, Bandar Utama, 47800 Petaling Jaya, Selangor — offers accommodation packages for seminar attendees. Contact us for details. Please do not book travel until you receive a confirmation email from SustainHealth Academy; confirmation emails are sent at least 8 weeks before the event.
You may take photos for personal reference and learning. Video recording is not permitted — it protects patient privacy during live demonstrations, maintains the integrity of the direct-lineage transmission, and ensures you remain fully present. You may share photos of the venue, course materials and group settings on social media, but please do not share photos of patients during demonstrations or close-up images of proprietary course content.
Please refer to our Terms, Conditions, Cancellations and Refund Policy for complete details. If the seminar is cancelled due to insufficient participant numbers, a full refund will be offered.

The Difference Isn't Talent. It's Method.

Dr Eileen Han is ready to transmit 20 years of direct-lineage knowledge to you over three transformative days — but only to a small group of approximately 35 Acupuncturists. When these seats are filled, registration closes.
